Hi,
I woke up this morning and my 2000 Volvo S80 imbolizer activated. :(
I have two keys for the car.  I know one is the valet key and doesn't
have the fancy full access fob.
I don't know which key is which.
One of the keys barely functions.  (you have to be within inches of
the car to get it to unlock and relock).

Tried locking and unlocking the car with one key at a time (with the
other key very far away).

No luck.

Any thoughts on how to fix this without having to tow the car to the
dealer?

Insert the key into the drivers door lock and lock and unlock that way (not
with the remote).  This resets the alarm on my S80.

I think my wife figured it out.

Looks like it's the battery.
