Re: 1984 244 diesel I just finished replacing, calipers, pads and the master cylinder. I filled up the system with dot 4 and bled each wheel using compressed air ( a tool which I made) to pump the brake fluid (15psi) to each caliper. Although there is clear fluid (no bubbles) being discharged at each valve, the brake peddle continue to bottom out when depressed. Since I do not have the service manual which covers the brake system, I would appreciate any information.. I obviously missed something. Thanks in advance. I learned once that your not supposed to bleed with pressure from the refiller cap, but with vacuum on each caliper. And each caliper has 3 bleeding points.
