Q: Radiator temp switch.

Hi.

Anybody knows the operating temp of the switch in the water-radiator?
I meen the temp the switch is making contact and the temp the switch breaks
contact.
The car is a -88 780  V6.

For a USA spec car, 212 degree F, the switch will close.
The switch turns on the small front electric fan in front of the condensor.
On 4 cyl B230FT is will also bump up the timing to increase idle speed only
while the switch is closed. Not sure if the timing changes on the B280F or
not.
