Visit www.swedeworld.com   I own and operate this website.  I have many
years of Volvo experience as does my family.  Hope to provide this site
as a resource for Volvo owners.  I do not have any advertising going
on, no banners etc.  I just want to have a cool Volvo community and
share my knowledge and have others share their knowledge

Please tell us why you think there is a need for a forum
besides this NG.

Because 0.1% of people on Internet have heard of Usenet and 0.1% of those are
using it. On the other hand there are quite a few Volvo forums, each  one
with its own style and niche.  I am a member of one of those (turbobricks)
also.

Howdy folks

Because:

- you can find a forum via Google
- you can share pictures on a forum
- most people nowaday think, usenet/newsgroups are for sharing music

Greetings

You can find a newsgroup in Google too.

>- you can share pictures on a forum
You can share pictures on a Newsgroup too. Just stick the picture somewhere
(your ISP probably gives away free space, otherwise there are lots that do)
and post the URL

Most people (by your definition) are fcuking idiots.

Web pages: http://www.caravanningnow.co.uk/ - caravanning,
http://www.rcole.org/ - personal web site and http://www.homeindorset.co.uk
because I loves the domain name for email.

To all:

I believe that my website offers numerous sources of Volvo information
from various people in the Volvo industry, including myself, and my
fellow workmates.  I have people from indepenent repair facilities as
well as Volvo dealers that I do work with that look at these forums.  I
figured that between all the resources something positive might come of
this.  As I stated in my initial posting, I am not in this for money.
It is something that interests me and want to be able to share with
other people.  I offered this to you all as an alternative to the
newsgroups.  This in no way is trying to lure you to my website and
never use the newsgroups again.  I hope this explanation is sufficient.
