96 850 Trunk Light Switch

Hi,
I have a problem where the trunk light stays on sometimes after
closing the trunk and kills the battery if I don't notice it being on.
My question is, where is the door switch for the light? I suspect
it's a mercury tilt switch that detects the level of the trunk lid,
but I can't seem to find it.
Thanks.

It's a microswitch incorporated into the latch assembly.
