I bought a 96 850 wagon and it came without the spare tire and jack so
I want to try to get them from a junkyard.  Does the 850 sedan come
with the same thin spare tire or do I have to get it from another
station wagon?

Thanks,

Bill

Our 96 850 sedan had a compact spare and I believe that they are the
same for the sedan or wagon.  The jack should be the same as well.

I imagine that the saloon and estate are supplied with the same spare tyre
(translating into English English!).

Having said that, try one of the ordinary road wheels in the spare wheel
well. If it fits, get a full-size spare rather than one of the horrible
under-size things supplied by Volvo.

My 1999 V70 (very similar to 850 Estate) was supplied with a small spare -
but a full-size one fits quite easily into the spare wheel well, so I
obtained a second-hand one, and don't use the small one.
