odometer not working 88 240 DL

Anyone have this happen?
everything else is working, except the odometer.
Is this a cable driven thing, or is it electric?

It's electric, there's a gear that can break, or solder joints on the
speedometer board.

Odds are it's the gear. IPD sells the repair kit.
