Trailing arm bushes

Hi

My V40 has failed it's MOT on what the mechanic has called trailing arm
bushes. Are these known by any other name, and how easy are they to
replace.

   That would be "trailing arm bushings" outside the UK.
Replacing them may require a special tool, or reasonable
facsimile thereof, to press the rubber bushings in and out
of the trailing arm ends.
