93 Vovlo 940 - Recirculate doesn't work

How do I fix my air recirculation? I smell gas, oil, and anything
outside even when I press the recirculation button. Any suggestions?

It's a vacuum operated door.  Check to see that the door isn't jammed
in one position.  Then check that the motor is getting vacuum.
