I have bought a 940 gle turbo engine b230et intercooler (manufactured
1985) but the car has no computer and no mass air flow. I am
mechanically inclined but I not a mechanic so in your reply be as
humane as you can. I do not know the part number neither is the vehicle
VIN of any help. XLB345213DC713225. please help.

You havn't been very clear, is this a 940 or 740, I don't think 940s
were made in 85 or do you mean 95? Where is the car from (USA)?

I think you mean you bought a car (not an engine as you have said
above), and you want to know what the ECU and mass air flow should be.

Which computers are missing? My 940 has ABS, Ignition, Fuel and alarm
ECU under the dash. Fuel ECU is in the RHS kick panel (Right hand drive).

Sometimes the ECU can vary, but we need to know what the car is clearly
first. Coils type can indicate which type of system it should have
(depending on which model it is).

Also one other essential you should have before asking questions here is
a workshop manual, this will give you a good starting level of
information about what you might be looking for.

1985? Or do you mean 1995? What car are you trying to put it in?
