My daughter is starting to learn to drive on our V70 estate.
Its not a problem as both my other children learnt on our old 740.
I want to be able to take the L plates off the car when she is not driving
but as you know magnetic plates will not stay on a Volvo.
Any suggestions on how I can do this.
I only want the L plates on the car when she is driving.

Can't you tie on some thin sheets of steel - the same size as L plates, and
with fixing holes punched in them - and then put the magnetic plates onto
them?
