Agree 100% and the best with these good old Volvos,they still runs,quality. I loved my various 544's, 122's, & 144's but I wouldn't trade my S-40 & S-60 for any of them. The old guys were easy to work on, which was A Good Thing(tm) as I spent plenty of time replacing points, plugs, exhaust systems, suspension parts, etc., not to mention they joy of trying to synch up a pair of SU's once they got some miles on them. The early one's may have been the safest around then but, compared with today's Volvos, they're death traps. |
