As anyone who owns one knows, finding 242 specific parts in good
condition is getting more and more difficult as these cars get older and
older. Does anyone make rubber window wiper trim? I'm talking about the
stuff along the top edge of the door which keeps water and debris from
going down inside the door. Mine is getting hard and brittle to the
point that it's very uncomfortable to rest my arm on the sill with the
window open. Perhaps someone sells rolls of the rubber extrusion that
could be used to replace the originals?

That link doesn't work for me, it tells me I don't have permission to

James,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I'm trying to get the Alfa ready for
a show this weekend and haven't been online much.

Here is a copy of the post on the T-Bricks site with a link to his website,
it should be all the info you need. I have no vested interest in this
product.

Hope this helps,.

Don

We have just paid to have 240 outside window scrapers made. They are being
copied exactly from a NOS window scraper I had. We are assured that with
todays rubber technology, we will be able to offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY on
them and will do so. The company making these for us also makes window
scrapers for large car manufacturers, so these are the real deal and not
some cheap low volume low quality parts.

240 window scrapers are no longer available from the dealer and the last
time they were available, they were around $100 EACH window. With ours you
will be able to re-seal your entire car for less than $100! Each set will
contain both left and right proper length outside window scrapers for your
specified model. Each set is for the outside window scraper rubber only, you
will use your old metal trim and installation is easy and straightforward.

There is a big expense for tooling and the minimum amount of material
required to have window scrapers made is quite large. So to offset some of
our initial cost we are going to offer the first 50 sets at an introductory
price of $60.00 a set for 2 doors and $65.00 a set for 4 doors and wagons.
This price includes shipping to anywhere in the US or Canada. Shipping to
other countries available at additional cost. However, at the introductory
price, price will be the same whether you buy 1 set or several sets. After
the first 50 sets, prices will be set at $80.00 a set for 2 doors and $90.00
a set for 4 doors and wagons.

Feb. 1st Update: Unexpected delays have pushed estimated delivery date to
the middle of March. Our apologies for any inconvenience.
