When are you supposed to service a s70? Do you just wait till the
service indicator light comes on?  I know there is a set mileage/time
interval but what is the point of the service indicator if its not
used?  The next service is due timewise but not in mileage.

The service light (at least on the '98s) can be set to come on due to 3
parameters:  Mileage, time and running time.  However you need the Volvo
Scan Tool (for '98s) or a VADIS (even more expensive) for the later
ones.

(But I check the newsgroup more often than this email address.)
