I just purchased my first Volvo. 89 740 GL and I LOVE IT. I haven't
had it for more then a week. It is in beautiful condition but I'm
having some issues. I replaced a brake light that was out on the
driver side as well as the front signal light. Now when the lights are
off everything is great. Then I turn the lights on and the wipers go.
then you signal left and the headlights flash. I don't know where to
start, but I hope it might be something simple. Anyone Help! Thanks

I just solved my own problem. I'm an Idiot! If the bulbs are not
properly screwed into position
It's not grounded right. So thats why all the problems. So make sure
everything is locked down.

Additionally, with cars that have a bulb-out indicator it is important
to have the proper bulbs. The PO of my 240 had replaced some bulbs
with brass base bulbs and put an incorrect bulb in the third brake
light. Once those were replaced all was fine as well even though all
bulbs were working before that.
