If the pressures indicate a charge is present but the compressor is not engaging then look elsewhere but checking the refrigerant charge is the first step. > 2001 V70 > > It appears as though my AC is not blowing cold air Happened to me. It was the compressor clutch. The electro magnet had failed. It was getting voltage but would not engage. There was a fuse on top of the compressor but it was good. In the end it cost $700 for both parts and labor to fix it. The compressor had to be removed from the car to replace the clutch. Larry |
