Please can anyone help?
2000 V70 classic.

The magnetic clutch on the AC compressor will not pull in unless it is
gently tapped (engine running AC on). Can this be fixed or do I need a new
one?

First make sure that the compressor is getting full battery voltage, and
fix any bad connections that may be limiting this.  Otherwise it is
possible to pull the plate you're tapping off the compressor and
removing some shims from behind it to compensate for clutch wear.

(But I check the newsgroup more often than this email address.)
