Hi Folks, Just noticed a sticker on the side of the driver door that says: Parts of the air bag protective system must be serviced or replaced by specified date according to your owner's manual. My date on the sticker says: April 2006. How important is it to have this serviced or replaced? Is it something that's covered by dealer? If not how much should I expect to pay? I've heard of 24 year old airbags being tested that worked just fine, so just ignore that sticker. Replacing the airbags on a 10 year old car will cost more than the value of the car. |
