why the stick for tranny fluid inspection is so tight on 850?

I just bought a 96 850 and today I decied to take a look at the tranny
fluid. You know what? I can not even pulled the stick out. Is there any
'trick' for this?

Hi,

Just looked at mine, there's no clips, but there is an "o" ring around the
top of the stick, just inside the tube. Maybe yours is sticking? Pull
harder :-))

Its sure helps if your not Irish theres a clip on the side of the dip stick
release it so you can remove the other dip stick .Just kidding I am a bit
blond quiet often under the grey .
