Does anyone have anyissues with a black car as tit seems to attract fools
who must throw things at it or scratch the paint .This weekend a full can of
red bull just missed my car in my carport .The can was very damaged so it
was thrown hard at the car .Is there such a thing as black envy ?

No, it's an issue with dark blue colours, your car's colour wasn't
correctly identified.  Seriously, I have 2 deep bumps ("dellen"), one on
engine cover and one on luggage cover, they could only be made on purpose
(and I've found the wood used for the second).

Nobody cares for other people's property, that's all :-(

Of the three cars that are normally parked out front at our house, only the
Volvo has been targeted by drive-by vandals, and that on several occasions.
My old beast is white.

when I visited Tasmania last my car was parked out in the open when it could
be seen by all yet someone went out of their way to go on the road side
drivers side and scratch my paintwork from on end to the other .All but the
rear drivers side passenger door buffed out .The locals said you  just dont
park a clean black car around here or else .

My only issue with a black car is the ~300 days of sun we get every year
where I live.  I actually tell car sales geeks that I'll look at any car
as long as it isn't black - exterior or interior.  I'd make an exception
for an original '65 Tbird in gunmetal gray with the black leather
interior but no other car is permitted the black...

2 weeks ago I had a can of red bull thrown at the car it just missed and
hit a post I heard the car of the offender and knew who owned it so at
2am I rang with a message no problems since .Guess he likes breathing !
