XC70 Insturment Controls are not working

After following the owner's manual to disconnect and charge a drained
battery, I found out that all my controls are not working: sunroof,
map light button, ac, gear shift indicators, seat warmer, etc.....

All other stuff working fine! Any tips or suggestions.

The obvious thing is a bad fuse. The first thing to do is find the
pertinent fuse and swap another one with it.

If that doesn't work, then I would guess it is a computer that needs to
be reset and I don't have the slightest idea what the recommended way to
to do that is. One possibility is to remove the fuse for 5 minutes and
then put it back in.
