I've just been reading the article about the stolen 65 Bus that was found after 35 years. http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/11/06/california.stolen.vw/index.html Where were you in 1974? I was still in high-school, driving my 1970 convertible bug. Max first year of college. Drove a 59 bug and a kawasaki 500 mach III. I had the oldest and most beat up bike at my school but it was mine. Back then I could only dream about owning a bug... Two years later I got a 1957 VW microbus. I wrecked it and then I got a 1964 VW microbus. The previous owner was an art student that had painted cosmic paintings on it for a good grade in his art class.
