stevegreen42@tiscali.co.uk - 25 Jun 2006 11:03 GMT I have a 1999 (V reg) Sharan 2.0 petrol. The indicators, reversing lights, radio, heated rear windows, central locking have all stopped working. I have checked all the fuses in the box under the drivers side dash, all seem ok. can anyone help please?

You may want to check another group for an answer.

Three cars were launched under different brand names, a VW Sharan, a Seat Alhambra, and a Ford Galaxy. They are pretty much identical and just badged differently.
They are also all watercooled and therefore do not belong here, in this group.

When I used to visit Germany for business they gave me this pretty peppy little Seat turbo. My German coworkers told me it was actually a VW - not sure if that is true, because they used to tell me that anything that worked well was German - kind of a standing joke, I guess
:) Took that thing all over the Swiss and Italian alps. Was surpised at its handling and performance - that's actually a fun little car to drive.

No Remco, the Seat is Spanish although it belongs to Group VAG (VW, Audi, Skoda and Seat) and a lot of parts are VW. (engines, transmissions, switches, electric components and a lot more)

BTW João, congrats on 'your' Victory in the World Cub. It was deserved but not quite a match... more like a war zone.

Still a neat little car. The one I had was a brand new rental so it was nice and tight. Suspect it was groaning a little when I handed it back. ;)
Btw, congrats to your team, João - you guys seem to have spanked our team (Roger and Mine, that is). :)
Olli Lammi - 26 Jun 2006 21:08 GMT > A Seat is Portugese? Seat belongs to the VAG family as do VW, Audi and Skoda. They use same parts and chassis for different models. Skodas are manufactured in the Czech Republic, Audis in Germany and Hungary (+ Thailand, China and Brazil) and VWs in Germany (+ god knows where) and Seats in Spain.
