What was tire size on '73 aircooled type III fastback?

Hi,
 Anyone recall the tire size on the stock 15" tires on a '73 aircooled
Type III Fastback?

I think they came with 155x15. My 1967 owners manual says 5.6x15. I
think that worked out to 155 but it has been nearly 2 decades since I
had that car.

Hil,
 Thanks for checking your manual. All the tips triggered a memory:
"165/SR15" seems to resonate in the brain for my '73. I had the car
from 1976 to 1990. A great car for hauling lots of stuff, good tracking
in the snow and on ice, and good clearance for exploring old logging
roads.

Sorry for the delay Tony but yes 165/15 are the stock tires for most
all Vdubs this includes the bugs, buses, ghias, etc.......
