ok, all of a sudden, i have a weird issue. my remote alarm and door
lock and hood opener, do not work. they also do not work from
internally. there must be a fuse blown, but i haven;t found which one
yet?

anyone have this happen and know which fuse is blown. too damn cold
outside to pull out all fuses, unless i have to

thanks..

Last time I had this problem (with a Mercedes), it was an in-line fuse
next to the alarm brain, which was under the footplate of the
passenger front-seat. I remember my wife's new beetle diesel had the
same arrangement... an in-line fuse that is, but I never had to find
it, so I am not sure where they hid the brain in that vehicle.

If the alarm is 'factory', I would call the dealer and ask them where
the fuse for it is hidden.

Oh... and the battery on the remote is for-sure good? Both our Volvo
and our Saab have a 'weak remote battery' message on the dash reader,
which has saved us some trouble.
