$, and what are they as measured against a mistake?

not to mention that if it's from an accident it should be covered by
insurance.

Thank you for the sage advice. It is not the $$, I just want to get that ugly
thing out of the dash panel. Nearest dealer is 120 miles away and I do have
some ability.

did you wreck the NB? and best left to the dealer to service since the new
module needs coded. BTW, it's located on the center hump under dash.

Thanks for letting me know where the module is located. I am 120 miles from
the nearest VW dealer and just want to remove the old bag housing until I can
get it to the dealer. They told me they can reset it so thats what I plan to
do.
