Hello all Does anyone know how to remove the passenger side airbag from a 2006 New Beetle convertible? It has been expended and I need to remove it. Also, where is the module hidden so I can either replace or reset it. Thanks in advance. It is not the $$, I just want to get that ugly thing out of the dash panel. Nearest dealer is 120 miles away and I do have some ability. I am 120 miles from the nearest VW dealer and just want to remove the old bag housing until I can get it to the dealer. They told me they can reset it so thats what I plan to do.
