ok bought the 81 cabriolet that i thought the engine was blown.It wasnt got a great deal any ways car is smoking out of tail pipe and and engine i noticed it was coming out fo valve cover but smoke was coming out of exaust manifold.Also the insrument panel not working RPM,MPH,GAS ETC...what could that be? > ok bought the 81 cabriolet that i thought the engine was blown.It > wasnt got a great deal any ways car is smoking out of tail pipe color? >and engine i noticed it was coming out fo valve cover but smoke was coming >out of exaust manifold. manifold leak? >Also the insrument panel not working RPM,MPH,GAS ETC...what could that be? start with looking for blown fuses. if that isn't it, might need to pull the cluster out and check connections, voltage regulator, etc. hopefully it's a fuse though (easier). |
