car wont start timing is off

all marks are lined up.car pops out the exhaust and wont start.any
ideas????

I would doublecheck that piston Nr 1 is at TDC (trough the sparkplug hole),
that both valves are closed on piston Nr 1 and cam equally balanced above
the valve tip (by removing the valve cover) and that the rotor points to
cylinder Nr 1 post (about five o clock if the car is heading at noon, but
not all models so make sure)

Sometimes the woodruff key, the one that locates the crank sprocket on
the shaft, shears off allowing the sprocket to twist on the shaft and
loose synch with the camshaft and auxiliary shaft.
