| Mazda 929 Broken Timing Belt | 06 May 2008 15:51 GMT | 7 |
Anyone experience a broken timing belt on a 1988 929 engine? Son's car just had this happen and we are wondering what the chances are that things (pistons valves) 'survived? I am assuming that this is a destructive engine. Car was only going about 15 MPH when this happened.

Can anyone advise how to remedy a light issue on Mazda 6 please? The lights on the dash illuminating speedo etc used to drop to half power when side or head lights were activated. Now they practically disappear completely.

| WTH is a "5TH Gear Switch"? | 28 Feb 2008 19:38 GMT | 12 |
Had this happen on my Nissan, and now on the Mazda. On the 240SX, a friend said I was driving down the road with my reverse lights on. I found two switches on the tranny, swapped them and the lights were good. The other switch was directly opposite the reverse switch, so I figured ...

| Time for New Tires on the NC. Ideas? | 11 May 2008 23:58 GMT | 7 |
Well, the second set of Michelins on the '06 Sport has come to the end of its useful life at less than 28K miles. Obviously pretty bad tread life. It seems providential that the government wants to give me $600 so that I will feel stimulated. A free new set of tires would be ...

I was just in getting an oil change and the dealer told me I needed new front pads and rotors. (96 Miata with 70k miles on it, street use only) Now I've had no noise, squealing, fading, pulling, any brake issues at all. I can understand it being time for pads, but why would the ...

Anybody have a clue what a used set of 'top hats' (I believe that's the term) should sell for? I've got a set available and a person interested so, I'm just wondering. Is there an approximate value (relative to new) like 50% or 33% of what new would cost that is considered a ...
