Many thanks for the reply. I think I will purchase the same size wheel and check on the offset.

The nominal difference in rolling radius between 235/35-19 and 235/45-17 is less than one percent.
Your ride height would drop about 1/16".
You don't need to recalibrate anything.
Since rolling radius is unaffected, gas mileage won't change.
Your ride will be harder and handling may not be what you expect, since the suspension is calibrated for a taller sidewall.
Also, watch the offset in any aftermarket wheel. If it's different from stock, this can lessen the life-expectancy of your wheel bearings.

Greetings! I have a 2007 Acura TL Type S and want to replace those stock wheels with something a little nicer. Perhaps in chrome. So far, it has been hell trying to find out if any wheels fit other than Ron Johns. My question is that if I do find a nice wheel, will going to a 19" tire & wheel combo take away gas mileage? What about speed performance like 0-60 or 1/4 mile? Will I need to have my Speedometer recalibrated? I have 235-45-17 and would like to upgrade to a 235-35-19.
