I never have a problem with Hagerty.  I was REAL impressed with their 24
hour roadside service as well.  I had to use that part of my coverage
when I thought I lost a rear wheel bearing.  The guy showed up with a
flatbed and was super careful with my car.  I pay $235 a year ($15 of it
is for the roadside service) and my car is covered for $30K.

Shut up, Dave.

I picked this up on the NCRS board tonight.  Something to think about.

Since insurance comes up rather often, I thought I'd pass this note on that
I received from Grundy:

Thank You for contacting GRUNDY WORLDWIDE's web site. Unfortunately, we
are
unable to insure Corvettes model year 1974 or newer unless the vehicle
is
part of a collection of collector cars. Best of luck in your search for
   proper coverage on your vehicle.
   Respectfully,
   GRUNDY WORLDWIDE

No where on their web site do they state this.
The best part, on their application, I listed this:

How many collector cars owned? - 2

I wonder what they require as a collection.
