Just my take on them and I am no way up on the tech end of them. I looked
around for months comparing picture's for a tv in the family room. Looked at
plasma, lcd all of them. Finally went with a Samsung 61" DLP Imo the picture
is as good as the plasma and the rest. One thing to note. After 2 years of
fairly heavy use the over heat light came on and it shut down. I reset it
and it happened a few day's again later. The original warranty was gone but
Sue had bought the extended in home deal. It cost $1,500 in parts to get it
right, ext.warranty covered it. I guess there is a place for extended
warranties.

52" LCD? Who makes it? (Been looking for a >50" flat panel to replace a

When I get my a.s to FL I'm going to need a 'putor for the house. I want to
leave this one here in MA for Sue to use and the time's when I come up. I
don't do a bunch of gaming but I might. I do a lot of reading on the net. I
like a BIG monitor for all the pink bunny pic's. I thought about a laptop
even more when I was trying to figure out the navigation question but have
pretty much settled on a garmin. Thanks to all for your help and info on
that. Anyway a laptop will limit the size of the monitor.
So let's hear what ya think especially you folks in the field. Brand, reason
why and price they go for if ya have the info.
