I didn't - the aa cover is a corporate one for fiat UK rather than for you personally, there is a number to ring and that's it. I only had to call them out once (garage did not tighten the battery connections) and I range the number gave them my car reg and they sent someone out.
I didn't receive any paperwork from fiat at all, I only had to claim under my warranty once - when the jack broke. They obviously have a record of the car and the warranty transfer must be done when you use it.

Having bought a used Fiat Idea a month or so ago, we are entitled to the remainder of the warranty and AA cover - the dealer have supposedly arranged this for us, but we haven't received any notification that this has gone through.
Should we not have received a card for the AA and a welcome pack from Fiat?
Anyone able to help?
Thanks.
