I've had my F150 since 95,and have been pleased. Heres the problem however, sometime it starts shuddering and loses power at peak load conditions. It will not respond to the throttle, just keeps slowing down. After just a few seconds it will respond to the throttle, and come back up to speed. Here's a discription of what I mean by peak load. Turnpike 75mph into a 30mph wind climbing a gentle grade. If this occures, it's usually after at least 30 minutes of operation.
These are the repairs made reciently. New trans & converter New exaust system Ignition wires, distributer cap and rotor, plugs 3 new injecters
Does anybody have a clue? Jerry
