Re: window adj

It could be the seal, but it sounds like there could be a problem with the window regulator (the pulley that moves your window up and down). The first thing to do is see if anything like the seal is causing the window to jam. If it is replace it. The next step would be (if you are up to it), to remove the door panel and have a look inside the door to see what is actually happening. Make sure to get either a Helm factory manual or a Haynes manual. While this does take time, it isn't too difficult to get everything out. The most likely component that is causing the problem is the regulator which is cheap to replace. If you have a dealer do this, I estimate it will run you over $300 to have them fix it (My friend had it replaced recently on a Chrysler).
Good Luck

I had this problem on my 1992 accord. There are two reasons, the most likely is that the form-rubber sealant around the door is old and worn. I would suggest replacing it, which isn't too expensive at all.
If you're speaking of the window actually not closing all the way, I would definately suggest getting that loo at. It could be the track, or the entire mechanism that closes the window. It kinda looks like the thing that "apple-picker" trucks use (like the guys who change the street lights)... pac man-ish, expanding to push up the window.
Hope that helps,
Matt
