Actually I did not mentioned that, my colleague did inform me that, he
had the car checked by the Dealer ship twice, and they turn-off the
engine light twice, and it came back again.

Why on earth would you buy a car that has had a check engine light on for 5
years without rectifying the problem?

Needless to say, this car was not well taken care of by your colleague.

Hi ,

Three months ago, I bought 95 Accord-V6 from my colleague (First owner
of the car). The Check Engine light is on since I bought it, and it has
been 'ON' since last 5 years according to my colleague. The car used to
run very smooth despite of the CEL, until I start noticing a sound at
the take-off last month.

I took it to the local mechanic and according to him, the car had very
low Automatic Transmission fluid and he topped up the fluid. After that
I never heard that sound again. But I can notice the significant
performance problem as the car is running very sluggish as compare to 3
months ago, when I bought it.

Having my doubt on possible Auto Transmission damage due to the low
fluid, I have my car checked by one of the 'Transmission Expert' in my
city and after taking a road test, he said that the Transmission seems
perfect.

Due to the annoying sluggish performance, I took it to the Honda dealer
ship. What they came up with is that the car have faulty TPS (Throttle
Position sensor) as per their computer diagnostic, and they have to
replace the whole throttle body.

Finally I took it to the third mechanic (referred by one of my friend)
and explain him the full situation. He ran the computer diagnostic and
came up with this code : P0725 Engine Speed Signal (AT TCM) [Diagnostic
tool that he used was SnapON MT2500]. He is recommending to change the
speed sensor, but I am not too sure about that.

I have checked the internet for this code for Accord and found the
different description of this code. i.e. P0725 Engine Speed Input
Circuit Malfunction(A/T Concerns).

I would really appreciate any help and suggestions , as I am totally
confused at this point.

Thanks in Advance.
