This is with the a/c on most of the way and into New York City (where traffic is bad). Speed was probably around 65mph - 85mph. I think the automatic actually gets slightly better gas mileage than the manual during highway driving. Hitting 37mpg is probably very optimistic but probably possible depending on conditions.

Have been looking at purchasing either a new Accord or Camry. A friend has an '05 Accord and insists that he gets 37mpg on the highway all the time. Is this really what they get, or a bunch of B.S. ? ? If it is true, the Accord outdoes the Camry by a WIDE margin. Sure would appreciate any feedback. Thx Zork
