It is part of the company name.

The Honda Lock Company is a subsidiary of the Honda Motor Company.

I wasn't sure if that was what "Lock" meant in that case, or if it was
just part of the company name?

Honda experts,

I was at the junkyard recently and found a mystery Honda electronic
part. As a technically-minded person, I'm curious to know what it is.
