Everything is at www.tirerack.com where you can compare all the features that are important to YOU, since you have to drive the vehicle, and you know what kind of weather / roads you'll be driving on. Road noise is also quantified on the site.

I have aquired a used CRV with Bridgestone Dueler HT (summer)tires but I find that they produce a lot of noise into the passenger cabin. This is notable especially when I encounter strips of 'quiet' tarmac, as the silence is very notable in contrast. This is not a problem at the moment, as winter is here and I have exchanged them for a set of pegged tires which are noisy as hell anyway. However, I think I will consider another brand of tires when spring comes and it is time to put summer tires back on.
Does anyone have experience regarding which brand of tires is less noisy on a CRV?
regards, FH
