I'm guessing you're not in USA or Canada? This stuff is all in your owner's manual. . . . . You will have to just wiggle and wiggle that key until it comes out. You may have to turn the steering wheel a bit to release the key, or even stick another key into the SHIFT RELEASE slot and put the whole thing in NEUTRAL to make key extraction easier. For help with immobilizer systems, see all the TSB's at http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/tsb/
Look in each model of Honda, since there are similarities.

Just bought an used Honda CRV 2000. I was not aware of the antitheft system and made a duplicate key. When I tried to turn on the car didn´t work. DOing some research I found about the antitheft system. I can turn on the ignition if I put the original key close to the duplicate one. My BIG problem, I cannot pull out the duplicate key from the ignition.
Any ideas on what to do??
