Cruise Control Issue Solved, I caused it?, Now about the brakes

Stanley P. Pickens20 Sep 2007 12:40
Cruise control working. Multi led brake lights non-oem were holding 3v
even when not lit. The cruise control stuff needs to see 0v ( I guess to
know that the brakes are not on ). Replaced bulbs with standard part and
cruise now works.

In the process the brakes were adjusted so that there is literally no
slack in the feel at the pedal. Is is possible to adjust this so that the
brakes are very slightly on at all times. It feels so different I'm
wondering if I feel the car slowing during coasting or working slightly
against the brake at all times.

Is this a bad thing or a normal feeling that is ok or will change back to
having a little take up slack over time?

Thanks for any replies.

Stan
