You can cut off the rear end of the muffler if the baffle cap is not
removable
making an ultimate fart can. Make sure to have earplugs ready, and no,
they won't help much. Hopefully the first policeman will shoot you on

I bought a muffler for my Galant 4 cyl engine. WIth the silencer on, it is
too quiet, with the silencer off, it is kind of anoying when stepping on the
gas when taking off, after that, it is fine at idle speeds. I was thinking
about drilling a couple of holes in the silencer to the the tone level
inbetween, can this be possible?? Thanks for the advice.
