Re: Maxima Fuel Injectors

No, Wil, you merely assumed that I'm using "originals". They have been
replaced numerous times, averaging about six years life, give or take. From
your reply, I assume you didn't know the answer to my question. BTW: Nissan
doesn't make fuel injectors, they buy them from contracted suppliers, just
like brake parts.

New ones that last longer than the originals (which lasted 23 years
with the technology/build materials available back then)?  Probably
only from Nissan (now with newer technology/build materials).  :-)

My old work car, an '82 Maxima has been dependable, but occasionally an
injector will go to leaking. My supply salvaged from yards is about out, and
I have reservations about rebuilt units. Are there any new units that last
longer than the originals? These are time-consuming to mess with.
