Turns out its's the dope's at Carquest,they kept selling me the wrong bulb.apparently these take the 4157 NA Long Life bulb.thanks for the help

This is not to insult your intelligence, but have you double checked to ensure that you are using the correct replacement bulb? The service manual says that you should be using a 4157NAK.
