I was hoping that someone would know right off what the cause of this one is.
This is a 94 Olds Cutlass Supreme with a 4T60E auto trans, it has been in storage for exactly one year. Car has 164,000 miles but the trans has around 60,000. The trans fluid is right at full line and is clear.
Problem: Car starts up fine, tried to put it into any gears but with no response. After moving it back and forth between all gears, including reverse, after a few minutes it jumps right into gears and all work fine. Have taken out on the highway and it seems to work perfectly, until the next day when I try it again. There were no problems prior to it being put into storage.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
