if you havent had the cooling system flushed since 98 then it may
help. get it done by someone that will use a hose and flush till clean
water comes out. those fast flush deals dont get the sludge out.. new
thermostat may help to.lucas

i have a 98 firebird and it takes around 5 to 10 minutes after i start
the car for the heater to start doing what its supposed to do - "keep
me from freezing to death"! please help me with this problem. tell me
what i need to get done to rectify this. do i need to change the
coolant? do i need to get it flushed? all the other fluids in the car
have been taken care of recently. so please tell me what the problem
