I have decided not to rush the job. I will do the fix when I get back from holidays.
Where would be a good place to order the clutch?
I will let you all know what falls out of the car when I take it apart.
Thanks for the advice. I am over the deial phase past the anger phase only acceptance is left.
Thanks again

Well... I have a 86 944 n/a
The first thing is the clutch was clunking and I know that I need a new clutch as the rubber is probably non existant.
Now.... the new issue. I poped the clutch and now it just clicks in any gear. I hope that I have not totally destroyed the whole thing.
I want to replaced the clutch plate on sunday but am I heading down a bad road? I only have Saturday night and Sunday to do the job and want to drive the car on Monday. I think that I can do the job but my question is, "what did I do to my Baby".
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Signed A very sad man.
