adam - download the manual and the pet-6 and look at the diagrams - that will be a lot easier than one of us trying to explain it to you. I don't know that I've personally had to take the wiper motor out but as you suspect, it's possible. the manual is usually quite helpful, that's why I tell you to start there.

Hi there, I've got 924S mr86
My passanger wiper got stuck, so I want to take whole mechanism out, clean it and grease it :-) and mount back into my S.
I've managed to: take the plastic cover of the wiper engine, than unscrew with 10 key. also took the wipers off with 13 key and 19 key. the whole mechanism is moving, but it goes round the support of windshield frame. I'm talking about the metal part mounted to the body under the hood, and to the plastic thing that supports the windshield with two + screws.
Any One know how to take it out ? in manual for the younger 944 it looks quite different and easier.
Have a Nice Day Adam T.
