aaah, delet the "h" at the end, you meant 100mA - that's a tenth of an amp,
which is high - if you have a radio, remove it and measure again, the clock
doesn't draw that much current.  My guess is a defective radio or defective
alarm (if you have an after market alarm) - typically a leaky capacitor

Exactly what was the current drain from the "clock/radio" in
milliamperes?

Greetings!

The (new) battery on my '83 944 will go dead over the period of a few
days if left unattended.  Not sure if it is related, but at night when
I drive with the headlites on I also noticed that the alternator idiot
lite will lite very, very dimly.

I hooked a meter up between the negative battery cable and ground and
starting pulling fuses but none of them had a significant effect on my
current draw --I only noticed a slight decrease when I pulled the fuse
for the clock / radio.

Has anyone had a similar problem?  Any suggestions on what to check or
do next?  Any feedback would be appreciated.

Cheers!
