I know that most collector car insurance companys will not insure someone like a twenty
year old with a high peformance collector car but does anyone know what their age
restrictions are? Do most of them have an arbitrary age at which they will begin
considering offering insurance?  Just curious.  I suppose the type of car that one is
wanting to insure also figures in there some where as well.  I've always used State Farm
since they've always given me a fairly decent deal and I've never owned any really
expensive collector cars.

I just got my renewal notice from Farmers Insurance and AON sure beats them.
I'll be switching also. I've been paying $$330 for two antique cars annually.
They cover both cars with same coverage at $133 annual. Not bad!

WOW! I just checked their web site and got an instant quote on both Leo and
Stella and their rates blew State Farm's rates away.
I'm going with AON next week.
I entered Leo as a 'Modified/Custom' and Stella as Antique
Classic/Collectable and Stella's rates are about 1/3 of Leo's.

I am using AON for our '53.  Rates are excellent, no mileage restrictions.
I have had one small claim and they were prompt and no hassle.  I recommend
them.
